[this is good]
Dude, the tie and the bass go together beautifully! Now all you have to do is to walk into your office with the four-string slung across your back and pulling the amp in tow! You could answer your clients' questions with a slap and pop.
The funny thing is my productivity would go up if I took my bass to work. Whenever I work on my own projects at home, I always have a guitar nearby. I work intensely, play a little guitar, work intensely, do something else....I'm very emotion-driven.

but yeah, talking to clients while playing the bass...that is a good idea....
I understand that completely. Mine is having something playing in the background at all times. I listen to music, old time radio, NASA TV, NBA highlights, NHL highlights, C-SPAN, eBiz podcasts of all kinds, and other miscellaneous junk. Like you, I like having both sides of the brain going at once. It helps you stay balanced. Although, when I have more time, I'd rather read something beneficial or play my classical guitar for a break and quit the work altogether for brief interludes. I just don't quite have the time for it yet.
